Awards

Our extra virgin olive oils (EVOO) are the result of the hard work of the team at Finca Las Manillas and have won various national and international awards for both the quality of the olive oil and their design and presentation.

Finca Las Manillas 1878

At Finca Las Manillas we have been cultivating olive groves since 1878 and this extensive experience has now been applied to obtain its most precious product: extra virgin olive oil. We find Finca Las Manillas at the foot of the Morena mountain range, between the Andújar and Despeñaperros mountain ranges, in the town of Arquillos in the district of El Condado. Our mountain olive grove is divided into two parts: the high olive grove in the middle of the mountains and the new olive grove, which is found in the least mountainous part, on rolling hills.

árbolThe Finca Las Manillas olive grove is traditional in its structure, with areas of 11×11 metres in which each olive tree has 3 feet. The entire area is irrigated guaranteeing consistent production and high quality in each campaign.

At Finca las Manillas we take good care of our trees at all stages and exclusively select the best olives to use when making our extra virgin oil. In our press we only produce olive oil from our own harvest, mostly the picual and arbequina varieties, under our brands Noviembre and Las Manillas. The process we use to obtain our extra virgin olive oils is based on systems that produce differentiated quality.

The philosophy we follow with our olive grove leads to us approaching the future seeking a sustainable way of life, bringing together people and their habitat. That is why at our farm we focus on integrated production, using biological and chemical control methods such as organic fertilisers from pruning waste, keeping vegetable cover between the trees in our olive grove, which naturally helps to fight against soil erosion, and promoting the presence of the natural fauna in our ecosystem.

At Finca Las Manillas our agricultural production method is compatible with the search for a more natural, sustainable world and with the protection of the environment.
